888 SOL's in Afghanistan
Dear Triple Eight, sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. Your SOL's work great here in Afghanistan, I have switched from my berber strap cutter to the Triple Eight SOL as a strap cutter it is much smaller, sharper and fits on my gear much better. It has been pretty busy over here.
UPDATE: Classification: UNCLASSIFIED
Hey TRIPLE EIGHT I thought I would shoot an e-mail and let you know that your SURVIVITOOL was put to use last week to cut the gunners harness off of the gunner when his MATV was on its side. I cant thank you enough!

Guns and Ammo Review!
888 Professional S.O.L. Knife
It's slim as can be, only three inches long when closed, and it "spins" open to reveal a 11⁄4-inch stainless blade--serrated on one side, straight on the other.

I've been carrying the S.O.L. around for a few months. Talk about handy! It's slim as can be, only three inches long when closed, and it "spins" open to reveal a 11⁄4-inch stainless blade--serrated on one side, straight on the other. The company calls it just the ticket for emergencies, and it would be that, but with its pocket clip and tiny size, I like it for light everyday use.
